Lyophilization equipment for flowers
Do I need a special lyophilization equipment for flowers? Yes, flower lyophilization is different from other products. Just because the flowers are loose and blooming, so it is empty inside the flowers. The empty body is a block for thermal transfer including both freezing and heating. The heat transfer of traditional lyophilizers are through contacting area. If there are more contacting area, it will be more efficient for heat transfer. It is obviously that the blooming flowers have little contacting area with trays or heating plates, that’s why it takes more than 10 days for one batch of flowers lyophilization.
To solve this problem, Kemolo designed the special lyophilization equipment for flowers. The heat transfer is not replying on contacting area, but through the space in the whole lyophilization chamber. Thus, all flowers are easily frozen and easily heated in the space, and much more even freezing and heating. So, the lyophilized flowers are in super high quality.
